Miners’ Colfax Medical Center is a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital rated in the top 100 out of 1300 nationally with complete obstetric and ICU services.  MCMC has a patient centered primary care clinic with access to complete women’s healthcare services, two Board certified pediatricians, and a Board certified geriatrician as well as family and internal medicine services.  Specialty services include surgical care, cardiology, and diabetes management.  MCMC is currently the only Level 4 Trauma Center in northeast New Mexico and southern Colorado offering 24-hour Emergency Room service and is in the process of applying to be certified as a Level 3 Trauma Center.
MCMC Long-Term Care Facility is a 47-bed nursing home which has provided sheltered and intermediate care to patients for over 100 years. MCMC was notified in 2014 by US News & World Report that its Long Term Care facility was named in the “Top 18” long term care facilities in the nation. 
Raton Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is an 80-bed skilled nursing facility with an excellent rehabilitation therapy program. Rated “excellent” in their annual Medicaid survey, the facility is staffed by local residents who truly care about their patients. This facility accepts Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance payments.

Citizens for the Developmentally Disabled provides our local community inclusion, work activities, and alternative living choices for children and people with developmental disabilities.  The Children’s Workshop provides developmental screening and evaluations, speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, and family support to children from birth to 3 years with developmental disabilities.

Hope’s Colfax Senior Care is a new state of the art facility offering compassionate care with a wide variety of individualized programs tailored to meet the needs of its residents. Amenities include private rooms, walk-in tubs, accessible kitchen, outdoor areas for relaxation, transportation to appointments, medication management, and therapy services. Services cost about half that of a nursing home and are covered by Medicaid.
The Veterans’ Administration has a new regional VA Community Based Outpatient Clinic in Raton to provide services for veterans who cannot otherwise afford healthcare coverage. The Clinic also offers a DAV Shuttle which takes veterans from the Raton Outpatient Clinic to the VA Hospital in Albuquerque
