Water

In the West, water is as good as gold and very important to both our quality of life and economy.  Some time ago, the City of Raton acquired senior water rights from a nearby reservoir.  These senior water rights, combined with the watershed surrounding nearby Lake Maloya, insure that Raton has an abundant and reliable water supply not only for today but also for the future.
